We are a small group of enthusiasts who develop open source software since the year 2000. Like many other OSS developers, we are having fun while developing software that we need. We find it especially interesting to write clean, portable and reusable code.
The word "faerion", as we see it, means "a legion of faeries". It was originally a name of the IRC server we were developing for ForestNet. Later, when more (sub)projects began to appear, we started using it as the group name.
